Last August 25, the Provincial Government of Bataan and General Santos City signed a sisterhood agreement to promote cultural and trade relations between the two local government units.

Mayor Lorelie Geronimo-Pacquiao and PartyList Rep. Bobby Pacquiao led the delegation of General Santos City. Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, 2nd District Congressman Abet S. Garcia, Vice Governor Ma. Cristina M. Garcia, and Balanga City Mayor Francis S. Garcia represented the Province of Bataan.

In his speech Gov. Joet Garcia. said that despite today’s societal difficulties, he believes that through cooperation and solidarity, we may redeem what has been lost.
